(Use chemicals with caution)
Potentiometers are mostly made of polycarbonate synthetic resin. Avoid contact with the following chemicals. Ammonia, other amines, saline solutions, aromatic hydrocarbons, ketones, lipids, and halogenated hydrocarbons.
(Use flux with caution)
Avoid using water-soluble flux, otherwise it will promote metal oxidation and material mold.
(Better way to use)
The structure of the voltage adjustment type should get the best effect (Figure A). If the potentiometer is used in the current adjustment type, there are many shortcomings (Figure B) and it should be avoided.
(Endpoint connection)
In circuit design, if DC is allowed to pass through the slide bar of the potentiometer, an anomaly effect is likely to occur due to the abnormal increase in resistance. The way to avoid this is to connect the slide bar to the positive resistor and the other end to the negative pole.
